Ms. Anna | Founding Director
Ms. Anna received her Master's in Early Childhood Education from Old Dominion University. While at ODU she studied under Dr. Katherine Kersey and worked at the ODU Child Development and Study Centers. In addition, she has 10+ years of teaching experience in the early childhood field. Ms. Anna has worked in administrative education since 2008.
Ms. Leigh Anne | Assistant Director
Ms. Leigh Anne helps both Ms. Anna and the staff with the day-to-day runnings of Francis Asbury Preschool. She has a Bachelors in Business Administration. Ms. Leigh Anne is often found each morning in the welcome center, happily greeting each little boy and girl as they arrive to school!
Ms. Jodi | 2-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Jodi joined our team in 2013. Her positive and always cheerful disposition is just what is needed in our class of busy 2-year-olds. She is a mother to three growing children and enjoys the young ones!
Ms. Andy | 2-Year-Old Assistant
Ms. Andy joined our school in 2021as a substitute. Her grandson was a student at FAP. Andy has been willing and able to jump in and help at a moment's notice! She is currently working with our youngest friends!

Ms. Jackie | Volunteer
Ms. Jackie joined our school in the winter of 2021. She has a long history of working with little ones and is eager to help out with all of our friends at FAP.
Ms. Suzy | 3-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Suzy has led our children toward a love of learning since 2011. Ms. Suzy has a passion for doing thematic crafts and activities with the children.

Ms. Jen| Pre-K Lead Teacher
Ms. Jen is one of our Pre-K lead teachers. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience working with young ones of all ages. She has her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Additionally, Ms. Jen holds her teaching certificate in the state of Virginia and is licensed to teach Pre-K - 6th grade.
Ms. Stacy | Pre-K Lead Teacher
Ms. Stacy came to us from another preschool near FAP. She is an active member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. We are so happy she chose FAP to continue her work with children.
Ms. Vonda | Pre-K Assistant
Ms. Vonda is not only a staff member she is a former FAP parent as well. Ms. Vonda has many years of experience with the youth at her home church of Baylake UMC. We are grateful she chose to continue connecting with God's children through her work at FAP.
Ms. Brenda | Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Brenda is one of our Pre-K lead teachers. She has over 30 years of experience as a preschool teacher. She is a very fun and creative teacher. She goes above and beyond when coming up with activities for the kiddos!!
Ms. Sue| Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Sue is a caring, nurturing and enthusiastic teacher! She has a commitment to creating a stable working environment that inspires students to do their best. She has many years experience working as a preschool/kindergarten teacher loves using her creativity to support the FAP teaching curriculum.
Meet Our Staff
We are beyond proud of our fabulous staff at Francis Asbury Preschool. Our staff is the glue that holds our school together.
Each of our lead teachers has experience and education in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field. We require our staff to attend workshops regularly, as our field is constantly changing.
In addition to regular attendance at workshops,
all staff members are CPR and First Aid certified.
